Anticipation

I couldn't sleep well last night - it's all the anticipation of this new little one's arrival.  I have things in my mind I want to get done - cleaning, editing, etc.  So I got up and worked on some pictures.  Here is a shot I had my husband take of me one day in my studio.  I am usually not a fan of pics that show my missing arm, but I guess this one is ok.  It shows who I really am.  And that's what my kids will remember.  I am excited to become a mom of 5 kids - can't wait to get this darling in my studio and get some pics of him :)

Lillie

Here are more of the pictures I took of sweet little Lillie.  A girl after three boys, I told her mom how excited I was for her to finally have her princess!  She performed like a champ for all the poses and pictures.  Love these sweet newborns : )

Esty Filled

I have gotten a couple of inquires about my Etsy Session.  Sorry guys, but it is already filled and done - here is one from the session I did the following morning. Darling little girl : )  I was having trouble sleeping the night before and posted the Esty thing at like 3:00 in the morning and by noon that next day I was already photographing this little girl - that's how fast it went.  I don't know when I'll have the need for one again (it might be months out) so it really is like a lottery, super random.  In the meantime I am happy to do pictures of any darling newborns that come my way.  I promise you'll treasure them forever!

Phoebe

Yay, I am really on a roll with these post :) It is a sign that the baby is coming - gatta get these done so I can be stress-free. 
So, this session makes me so happy :)  Phoebe's mom brought her in to get pictures of her in her sealing dress.  What a happy day that must have been.  She was super smiley for us, we had a great time doing these.  Love. Her.

Introducing Etsy Sessions

From time to time, I am contacted by an Etsy seller to photograph some of their products (usually headbands).  It is fun for me to do a little exchange, but I do not always have a baby girl lined up right away.  I want to have a good turn around time for these gals, so I have decided to offer Esty Sessions. It will be available on a need-basis only (I'll only announce any openings on my blog so keep watching : ).  It will be free of charge, but I will only give you 3 of the pictures I take (depending on the need, I may take many more than that during the session).  If you would like me to take more and get more of the pictures I will offer half off for the session (signature or mini).  I hope that makes sense.  Email or call me if you need me to explain it better.
So, here is my first announcement! Available - one Esty Session.  I need a baby girl less than two weeks old between now and the end of January.  Let me know if anyone wants to grab this great offer : )
PS.  Here is a picture of my darling little daughter.  She is just shy of two years old now and just cute as ever!

Luke

This little darling was perfect for the session.  He hardly fussed and proved again the benefit of taking pictures like these within the first week of life.  His mom had a cute idea for a late Christmas card that gave me a chance to bring out my oversized teacup (haven't used that in so long).  It turned out darling : ) Speaking of momma, could anyone be more beautiful? Gorgeous.

Danielle

All I can think of is what a trooper Danielle's mommy is.  She brought her sweet little girl in 4 days after having a c-section.  Amazing.  With the holidays it was the only day that was going to work.  And I think it was worth it - what a darling little girl!  Hope you love them Meredith : )

I am down to less than 5 weeks before my own darling comes.  I am so excited to meet him and get my own treasured pictures of him :)  I'll be on maternity leave for a bit, but feel free to contact me if you are interested in a newborn session at any time.

My darling little niece came to visit for the holiday.  Of course we had to sneak down to my studio and take a picture or two.  I cannot imagine this picture being any more perfect.  She is sweet little doll with beautiful bright eyes.

I was so excited to meet Leah - I know her parents from when I was first married and it's been a while since we had a chance to chat.  It always makes the session extra fun when I can enjoy visiting with mom and dad as we wait for baby to nurse or be rocked to sleep.  Her mom is the blog writer of Utah Deal Diva, a very fun and successful blog that you should definitely take a peek at : )

Mei & Nohea

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving - I enjoyed lots of food and family back home in Arizona.  Between that trip and a nasty stomach flu, I am a bit behind in editing and posting, but here is one : ) Seriously, could anyone be more darling than little Mei?  I took newborn photos of her older sister - my has she grown in into a gorgeous little girl :)

Snow White

Just had to post this picture I edited tonight.  This gorgeous little girl looks like a snow angel.  I am so excited for the upcoming holidays : )

Halle

When Halle's mother told me she was having a girl, I was so excited for her - I knew she would be adored to no end.  What a sweet little girl.  She was a few days older than I usually photography newborns, and boy, do those few days make a difference.  But we were able to get her to sleep and got some beautiful pictures of her.  She is a princess through and through : )
